About Black Tie Tuxedos:

Black Tie Tuxedos has been a locally owned and operated family business for nearly 20 years.  Larry and Debbie opened the shop in 1996, bringing more than 60 years of combined experience to the Fort Myers location. 

Larry was the full-time manager of a tuxedo shop through high school.  While attending Indiana University, he earned early success in the tuxedo industry and opened his own shop at the age of 18. 

Debbie worked full-time managing a retail shop through high school and graduated from Indiana University with a BS in Marketing and Merchandising.  She went on to become a buyer for Federation Department Stores.

Debbie eventually joined Larry in the wedding industry and the couple owned and operated 22 stores in the Midwest that included tuxedo, bridal, dry cleaning and a wedding planning business. 

For the past 15 years, Mike has been the store manager at Black Tie Tuxedos, helping hundreds of customers find the latest styles and ensuring they get a perfect fit.  Debbie and Larry’s daughter Jessica is now a sales associate and helps out with store communications.

Black Tie Tuxedos supports many local schools, music and theater programs and is also proud to support police and first responders with special pricing.  They enjoy the excitement of homecoming and prom seasons.  They provide sales and rental of suits, dinner jackets and tuxedos for weddings or any black tie event.
